January 22 is the official Day of Prayer for the legal protection of the Unborn.
When we consider the Unborn, it is beautiful and affirming to know that God reminds us in Jeremiah that, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you…” (Jeremiah 1:5). Each and every one of us were *known* to Him before we were even conceived in our mothers’ wombs.
A prayer service for the Unborn will be held at St. Patrick’s #1 Cemetery, 5000 Canal Street, on Monday, January 22 at Noon. Archbishop Aymond will be blessing the new Holy Innocents Prayer Garden. All are invited to attend.
Our corporal work of mercy…
Did you know that ACCESS Pregnancy distributes 12,000-15,000 diapers each month?
Our Lady of the Rosary will collect diapers to show mothers our love and support by filling the ACCESS Pregnancy diaper bank. Any size diaper is welcome, but they have a particular need for size 6 and pull ups. Diapers can be placed in the church vestibule the weekends of January 20-21 and January 27-28.
