Hurricane Barry Update

Dear Parishioners, 

While I am here in Washington, DC, I have been monitoring the situation of Hurricane Barry with the help of Fr. Colm and our parish staff. 

Since the City of New Orleans is requesting everyone to stay off the streets from 8pm Friday evening until the end of the rain event, I have decided to cancel the 4pm Mass on Saturday, July 13th. There will also be no confessions before Mass. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but I would much rather everyone stay home and safe than try to get to Mass in a potentially dangerous situation. 

The Masses on Sunday will be offered as normal at 9am, 11am, and 6pm. Please join us then!

Please know that you are all in my prayers, and let us continue to ask the intercession of Our Lady of Prompt Succor for the protection of our city and region.
